Regular, Full-Time employees are eligible for the following benefits from date of hire (unless otherwise noted):
Medical and prescription drug coverage is provided to eligible employees and their dependents through Teledyne’s self-insured plans. PPO, HMO and EPO plans depending on location. Employee contributions are annually adjusted.
Dental PPO coverage for employee and their eligible dependents is provided through Delta Dental of California. Employee contributions are annually adjusted.
Vision PPO coverage for employees and their dependents is offered. Enrollment is voluntary.
Generous basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment policies are provided at no cost for benefit-eligible employees. Employees also may elect to purchase supplemental coverage for themselves, their spouse or children.
Short and/or Long Term Disability
This important coverage provides a tax-free income replacement benefit in case our employees are unable to perform their job due to a non-work related accident, illness or pregnancy. Participation is voluntary.
Health Care & Dependant Care Flexible Spending Accounts
Employees can choose to have a portion of their pay withheld (up to $5,000 per year) on a PRE-TAX basis and these funds are placed in a reimbursement account to be used for approved health care and dependant care expenses.

Teledyne offers employee and their family members access to an Employee Assistance Program. Holiday Pay
Company paid holidays.
This benefit is designated to provide compensation assistance when taking time away from work for doctor visits, illness, and injury or to care for a sick dependant.
Up to three consecutive business days (five days, if the death occurred more than 1,000 miles away) of paid leave per incident in the event of a death within the employee’s immediate family.
The company provides for paid civic duty for jury duty or legal proceedings. Benefit varies depending on location.
Accrued vacation benefits based on years of service. Ten vacation days accrued within the first year of service.
You may contribute up to 50% (15% for highly-compensated employees) of your PRE-TAX earnings into the plan each year.
Stock Purchase Plan
After 12 consecutive months of service and at least 1,000 hours of employment, you may contribute bi-weekly on a post-tax basis, up to a maximum of 15% of base earnings per pay period. For every dollar you contribute, Teledyne will make a matching contribution of twenty-five cents.
Educational Assistance Plan
After 90 days of employment, regular employees are eligible for non-taxable reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year for tuition, fees and books at most educational institutions for pre-approved, job related courses, professional designations or certifications for which a passing grade is earned or an exam is passed.
